York Rite Development Fund

PURPOSE

The York Rite Development Fund was established in 1989 for the general improvement of York Rite Masonry within the Jurisdiction of the Grand Council of Texas.

Royal Arch Chapters, Councils of Royal and Select Masters, and Commanderies of Knights Templar may apply for funds to assist with projects including, but not limited to:

1. A regular York Rite publication.

2. Education and training programs for York Rite members.

3. York Rite programs and materials.

Activities that do not benefit York Rite Masonry would not qualify for financial support from the Development Fund.

DIRECTORS

The Development Fund Directors is managed by a board of five Directors:

R. Brian Cook (President)

M. Wayne Roberson (Vice President)

Hunter Schappaugh (Treasurer)

Jimmy R. Rumsey (Secretary)

Barry C. Foster

The Directors meet semi-annually to review applications for funds.

DONATIONS

Donations payable to “York Rite Development Fund” may be made care of the Grand Recorder to: P.O. Box 296, Waco, TX 76703-0296.

AVAILABLE FUNDS

Only interest and dividends received into the Development Fund from the investment of the principal shall be Available Funds. Available funds may be used to support York Rite Development Fund activities. No part of the York Rite Development Fund principal shall become Available Funds.
