Charles Steven Wolfe

Charles Steven Wolfe was born on January 9, 1954 at Carswell Airforce Base in Fort Worth, Texas. He is the son of Charles Franklin, Jr. and Henry Jeanne Wolfe. Steve grew up in the community of Boyd, located 25 miles north of Fort Worth. He was educated in the Boyd Public Schools and graduated from Boyd High School in 1972.

On October 27, 1984 Steve married Sarah Nash at her family’s home at Lake Leon, Texas. Sarah is employed with the United States Postal Service. They have one son, Jon C. Wolfe and two grandsons, Lane and Dakota Wolfe who are very special in Steve and Sarah’s lives.

During his teenage years, he was employed by his father and his father was instrumental in Steve’s decision to begin his own company, Wolfe’s Plumbing in 1975. After many years of being self-employed, Steve and his father formed a partnership in the construction and sand mining industry in 1996. The plant is located in Boyd where you will find Steve if he is not performing and conducting Masonic business. He is also the Director of The Julian Field Players which performs Masonic plays for his Masonic Brothers and their families.

CIVIC

He is a member of Trinity Baptist Church, the Better Business Bureau and the National Federation of Independent Businesses. His company sponsors yearly area Youth Athletic Associations.

MASONIC HISTORY

Steve was raised a Master Mason in Boyd Lodge No. 479 on May 10, 1976, where he is the third generation to be raised in Boyd Lodge No. 479. He served as Worshipful Master of Boyd Lodge for the Masonic Year of 1992-1993 and also served as Worshipful Master of Julian Field Lodge No. 908 for Masonic Year of 1997-1998. He was Exalted to the Sublime Degree of Royal Arch Mason in Texas Chapter No. 362 and was Hailed and Greeted a Royal and Select Master in Texas Council No. 321. He was Knighted in Worth Commandery No. 19. He is an endowed member in the above York Rite Bodies. He is also a plural member of Alvord Chapter No. 193 and Alvord Council No. 131. He served as High Priest of Texas Chapter No. 362 and Thrice Illustrious Master of Texas Council No. 321 for the Capitular and Cryptic year of 1992-1993. He served as Eminent Commander of Worth Commandery No. 19 for the Templar year of 2000. He has received the Super Excellent Master Degree in San Antonio, Houston, and Dallas. He is a Charter Member of Trinity York Rite College No. 154 and is a lifetime member of the Royal Order of Scotland and a member of the Knight York Cross of Honour. He is a contributing member of the York Rite Library and Museum of Texas.
