Lloyd C. Kneisley, Jr.

Born in Gulf, Texas, Matagorda County, on June 20, 1921. Attended Houston Public Schools. Served in World War II in the South Pacific area, attained the rank of Sergeant. Married to former Miss Alsace Lorraine Strum. Has four sons, two daughters and five grandchildren. Has been with Houston Independent School District for the past sixteen years in the Maintenance Department. Member of Park Place Methodist Church, Houston, Texas.

Raised to a Master Mason in Park Place Lodge No. 1172, A.F. & A.M., Houston, Texas, on April 14, 1954. Served as Worshipful Master, June 24, 1968, to June 24, 1969.

Exalted a Royal Arch Mason in Park Place Chapter No. 458, R.A.M., Houston, Texas, October 15, 1954. Served as High Priest, June 24, 1960-51. Secretary of Park Place Chapter. Member of the Order of High Priesthood. Grand Representative of the Grand Chapter Royal Arch Chapter of New Jersey near the Grand Chapter of Texas. Served the Grand Royal Arch Chapter of Texas as Grand Royal Arch Captain in 1966.

Greeted a Select Master in Park Place Council No. 373, R.&S.M., in 1954. Served as Thrice Illustrious Master, June 24, 1962-63. Recorder of Park Place Council. Member of the Order of Silver Trowel of Texas. Grand Representative of the Grand Council of Royal and Select Masters of Massachusetts near the Grand Council of Texas. Served as District Deputy Grand Master of District 5b in 1966. Was elected and installed into the office of Most Illustrious Grand Master of the Grand Council of Royal and Select Masters of Texas at the Grand Assembly in Waco, December 1, 1970, and served through November 30, 1971.

Dubbed and Created a Knight Templar in Park Place Commandery No. 106 in 1955. Served as Commander in 1966. Served five years on the Drill Team.

32 degree Scottish Rite Mason, Valley of Houston, since 1959. Received the Rank and Decoration of Knight Commander of the Court of Honour.

Admitted and Constituted a Noble of the Mystic Shrine in Arabia Temple, Houston, Texas, 1956.

Charter Member of Park Place Order of DeMolay, 1936. Received Legion of Honor Degree, June 19, 1965.
