Victor Samuel Hoffmann

Was born in Brownwood, Brown County, Texas, on February 3, 1910. Educated in the Brownwood Public Schools and Daniel Baker College. Has lived in Brownwood, San Antonio, Galveston and Waco.

On June 9, 1936, he was married to Miss Mayelna Ann Strait of Dallas. He is a member of the First Presbyterian Church of Waco, Texas, and is serving as Ruling Elder of that Church.

He is associated with Wilkerson-Hatch Funeral Home of Waco, Texas.

Companion Hoffmann was raised a Master Mason in George N. Denton Lodge No. 24, A.F. & A.M., Waco, on April 24, 1950. Served as Worshipful Master 1957-1958.

Exalted a Royal Arch Mason in Waco Chapter No. 45, on March 18, 1952. He is presently serving as High Priest.

Greeted a Select Master in Waco Council No. 33, on March 20, 1952. Served as Thrice Illustrious Master in 1958-59. Was appointed Grand Captain of the Guards in 1959. He was elected Deputy Grand Master in December of 1963, was elected and installed Most Illustrious Grand Master on December 1, 1964, and presided at the Annual Assembly in 1965. Is a member of the Order of the Silver Trowel of Texas.

Dubbed and created a Knight Templar in Waco Commandery No. 10. Served as Commander in 1960.

32 degree Scottish Rite Mason, Member of the Waco Bodies.

Member of Karem Shrine Temple, Waco.
