Greeted in Oak Cliff Council No. 310, R.&S.M., on June 7, 1921. Later affiliated with Z.E. Coombes Council No. 352, R.&S.M. Was Thrice Illustrious Master of Z.E. Coombes Council in 1949-50. Received the Order of the Silver Trowel in 1954. Was elected Illustrious Grand Principal Conductor of the Work in 1955. Was elected and installed Most Illustrious Grand Master of the Grand Council of Royal and Select Masters of Texas on December 3, 1957 and presided at the Annual Assembly in December 1958.

Consecrated a Knight Templar Priest in Our Redeemer Tabernacle No. 9, Dallas, Texas, on May 6, 1953.
