Raised in Spring Lodge No. 1174 AF & AM on October 30, 1990. Transferred membership to Tomball Lodge No. 1096, where he is an Endowed member and served as Worshipful Master in 1998-99. Served the Grand Lodge of Texas as District Deputy Grand Master in 2004. Currently serving second full term on the By-Laws Committee, having served as Chairman for four years. Class "A" Esoteric Certificate since 1994.

Exalted in North Houston Chapter No. 472 RAM on March 25, 1992, serving as High Priest in 1999-2000. He served as Secretary for ten years. Consecrated in the Order of the High Priesthood. Served the Grand Chapter as Grand Chaplain, District Deputy Grand High Priest, By-Laws Committee Chairman, Area Coordinator, Area Three Representative Membership. Esoteric Certificate and member of the York Rite Esoteric Association. Grand Representative of Saskatchewan near Texas.

Greeted in North Houston Council No. 387 R&SM on April 1, 1992, serving as Thrice Illustrious Master in 1999-2000. Endowed member, serving as Recorder for ten years. Received in the Order of the Silver Trowel, and is advancing in the line of the Order of the Silver Trowel in Texas. Received the Super Excellent Master’s degree. Charter member of Amarillo Commandery’s drill team. Member of the Texas Chapter of the Sovereign Order of the Knights Preceptor. Ordained a Knight Priest in Resurrection Tabernacle No. XXI, Holy Royal Arch Knight Templar Priests, and is a current officer advancing through the line. Member of the Valley of Houston, Orient of Texas Ancient and Accepted Scottish Rite since 1996, spending many years serving with the Stage Canteen. Invested with the rank and decoration of Knight Commander of the Court of Honor in 2005.

Sir Knight Wunsche’s Masonic ties run deep. Most of his family is involved in many aspects of Masonry, including the International Order of Rainbow for Girls and DeMolay. He is proud to serve the Grand Commandery of Texas as Grand Commander in 2011-2012.
