Was born in the Preston Bend Community of Grayson County, Texas, about 10 miles north of Pottsboro, Texas, on June 22, 1907. Both his parents are native of Texas, his Mother having been born about 6 miles from where he was born and his Father at Weston, Collin County, Texas. His Father was a member of Denison Chapter No. 138, R.A.M., having received his degrees there in 1903.

The Noble family moved to Sherman in 1913 and Allie was educated in the Sherman Public Schools, graduating in 1923. He received his A. B. Degree from Austin College in Sherman in 1927.

He was retired from the Kroger Company on July 15, 1972, after having served for 23 years as its District Traffic Manager of the Dallas Division of the Kroger Company. He is a member of the Official Board of the White Rock Methodist Church.

Companion Noble was made a Master Mason in George R. Reeves Lodge No. 396 in Pottsboro, on November 24, 1928. He served as Worshipful Master in 1932. Later he moved his Lodge affiliation to Dallas, serving as Worshipful Master of Alexander C. Garrett Lodge No. 1216 in 1944. He took his Chapter Degrees in A. C. Garrett Chapter No. 420 in 1929 and served as High Priest in 1937. He received his Council Degrees in Dallas Council No. 18, R.&S.M., in 1929 and served as Thrice Illustrious Master in 1944. He was Knighted in Dallas Commandery No. 6 in 1944 and later became a charter member of A. C. Garrett Commandery No. 102, and at present is its Captain General. He is a dual member of A. C. Garrett Council No. 382, R.&S.M.

For eight years he has served as the Chairman of the Committee on Fraternal Correspondence of the Grand Chapter and Grand Council.

This year M:E: Companion Noble has been appointed a member of the Committee on the Royal Arch Room in the George Washington Masonic National Memorial Alexandria, Virginia, replacing our deceased Companion V:E:P.G.H.P. Warren F. Merritt, who served on this Committee for many years.

He is a member of the Order of High Priesthood and the Order of the Silver Trowel. He is a member of the Royal Order of Scotland and Texas York Rite College No. 14. He is a 32nd Degree Scottish Rite Mason, being a member of Dallas Consistory. He is a member of Hella Temple, A. A. O. N. M. S.

He is Grand Representative of the Grand Chapter of Michigan near the Grand Chapter of Texas. He is also Grand Representative of the Grand Council of Kentucky near the Grand Council of Texas.

On November 30, 1965, he was elected and installed M:I:Grand Master of the Grand Council of Royal and Select Master of Texas, and served for the year 1966.

On November 30, 1971, he was elected and installed M:E:Grand High Priest of the Grand Royal Arch Chapter of Texas, and served for the year 1972.

He holds a life certificate of proficiency in the esoteric work of the Blue Lodge, the Royal Arch Chapter and the Council of Royal and Select Masters. He is a member of the York Rite Esoteric Association.

In 1933, he married Marguerite Harrison of Dallas. They have two daughters, Mrs. H. G. Smith, of Houston, and Mrs. L. B. Houston, Jr., of Dallas, and four grandchildren.
