Companion A. R. Casebolt was born December 14, 1912, at Minneapolis, Minnesota. He was educated in the Public Schools in Minneapolis. He was active in the Drama Department at Roosevelt High School, graduating in 1931. Attended Dunwoody Institute in Minneapolis, graduating with a degree in Cereal Chemistry in 1933.
He has one daughter, Merrillie Streetman, and a son Robert Casebolt. Companion Casebolt resides in Azle, Texas, and has a business interest in Fort Worth. He is a member of the First Methodist Church in Fort Worth, and served on the Church Board and as a teacher for several years. He is also a member of the Fort Worth Kiwanis Club.
He was Raised a Master Mason in Cooke Peavy Lodge No. 1162, A.F.&A.M., Fort Worth, in June 1940, and served as Worshipful Master in 1943-1944. He served the Grand Lodge of Texas as a member of the Obituary Committee.
Exalted to the Sublime Degree of Royal Arch Mason in Tarrant Chapter No. 416, R.A.M., Fort Worth, April 23, 1943; demitted and affiliated with Fort Worth Chapter No. 58 in 1944 and served as High Priest in 1969-1970. Served as R:E: District Deputy Grand High Priest of the Grand Royal Arch Chapter in 1973; and is the Grand Representative of the Grand Chapter of Royal Arch Masons of Michigan near the Grand Chapter of Texas. He was elected Grand Scribe in 1973, passed through the Chairs and was Elected and Installed as Most Excellent Grand High Priest on November 30, 1976, and served during the year 1977.
Greeted in Tarrant Council No. 349, R.&S.M., Fort Worth, May 25, 1943, demitted and affiliated with Fort Worth Council No. 42 in 1944; served as Thrice Illustrious Master in 1970-1971. He is the Grand Representative of the Grand Council of Royal and Select Masters of Connecticut near the Grand Council of Texas.
Knighted in Worth Commandery No. 19, K. T., in 1943. He is a Life Sponsor, Knights Templar Eye Foundation; Past Chairman of the Membership Committee of Worth Commandery and an Honorary Member of the Drill Team.
Member of the Scottish Rite Bodies in Dallas, 1943, and the Fort Worth Bodies in 1973. He is serving the Fort Worth Scottish Rite Bodies, Chairman, Degree Coordinating Committee, Member of Finance Committee, Senior Warden of Fort Worth Lodge of Perfection. Past Wise Master, Fort Worth Chapter Rose Croix; Member Sovereign Grand Inspector Generals Advisory Conference; and Past President Fort Worth Scottish Rite Association and Life Member. Invested Knight Commander Court of Honour in 1953, coronted Inspector General Honorary 33rd Degree in 1963.
Member of Moslah Shrine Temple, Fort Worth. Member of Ceremonial Directors, Ceremonial Divan; and Permanent Contributing Member, Shriners Hospital for Cripple Children.
